I have a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Coaching and a Master’s degree in Cross Cultural Education. Throughout my coaching career and active membership in the AFCA, I have been fortunate to be mentored by esteemed coaches such as Vic Rowen, Chris Ault, Bill Walsh, Joe Paterno, RC Slocum, Johnny Majors, Joe Restic, John Ralston, Jim Criner, Dick Vermeil, and Herm Edwards, among others.

I have successfully coached all three phases of the game (Offense, Defense, and Special Teams) as both a position coach and coordinator. During my tenure, I developed 15 ALL-Conference players, 3 college All-Americans, and 5 NFL players. I also contributed to 3 college Championship teams (including 2 undefeated teams), 4 Junior College Bowl Champions, and numerous playoff appearances.

My scouting and administrative experience have equipped me with the skills necessary for evaluating players, facilitating team needs, and organizing a winning structure, all essential for athlete development. I have had the privilege of collaborating with professionals such as former Kansas City Chiefs GM Carl Peterson, Canadian Football League GM and Head Coach Jim Barker, and former XFL Head Coach Jim Criner.

I spent 4 years as an NFL area scout for the Kansas City Chiefs, covering up to 10 states and evaluating college-level players for NFL opportunities. Three of those years were dedicated to being an NFS combine scout at the Indianapolis Football Combine, where my 87% draft “Hit Chart” ranked among the highest in the organization. I had the chance to scout and evaluate remarkable players like Eli Manning, Derick Johnson, Daniel Manning, Patrick Crayton, and Cory Webster.

Currently, as a Canadian Football Scouting Consultant, I scout for 8 NFL teams (AFC & NFC West) to identify potential players for the organization. My responsibilities include overseeing roster transactions, training camp evaluations, and preseason game assessments. As the Director of US scouting, I maintained these player scouting responsibilities, developed a player report grading scale, created scouting schedules for other US scouts, and fostered relationships with player agents and free agent players.

Over the past 10 years as an NFL Regional Combine scout, I have organized numerous combines at various NFL facilities, including participation in the NFL Network TV Series “Undrafted.” My tasks involved conducting height, weight, and speed testing, alongside developing position-specific drills to evaluate player talent and recommend them for further testing. In 2019, I contributed to the NFL International Combine staff, executing duties similar to those I performed at Regional Combines.

My extensive experience in all aspects of football has enabled me to thrive in fast-paced organizations, balancing numerous responsibilities while serving as a motivator, mentor, and team leader. This broad knowledge and experience in NFL scouting and athlete development have uniquely positioned me to conduct a football camp that will not only be productive for athletes but also provide them with invaluable knowledge to further their pursuit of becoming better football players.
