I have a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Coaching and a Master’s degree in Cross Cultural Education. During my coaching career and active membership in the AFCA, I have had the opportunity to be mentored by great coaches such as Vic Rowen, Chris Ault, Bill Walsh, Joe Paterno, RC Slocum, Johnny Majors, Joe Restic, John Ralston, Jim Criner, Dick Vermeil, and Herm Edwards, to name a few.

I have been able to coach all 3 phases of the game (Offense, Defense, and Special teams) with success as a position coach and coordinator. During my time as a coach, I have developed 15 ALL-Conference players, 3 college All-Americans, and 5 NFL players. I have also been a member of 3 college Championship teams (2 undefeated teams), 4 Junior College Bowl Champions, and many playoff appearances.

My scouting and administrative experience has allowed me to develop the skills to evaluate players, facilitate team needs, and organize a winning structure. I have had the opportunity to work with professionals such as former Kansas City Chiefs GM Carl Peterson, Canadian Football League GM and Head Coach Jim Barker, and former XFL Head Coach Jim Criner.

I spent 4 years as an NFL area scout for the Kansas City Chiefs, covering up to 10 states, evaluating college-level players for NFL opportunities. Three of those years were spent as an NFS combine scout and working within the Indianapolis Football Combine. My 87% draft “Hit Chart” was one of the highest in the organization. I had the opportunity to scout and evaluate players such as Eli Manning, Derick Johnson, Daniel Manning, Patrick Crayton, and Cory Webster, to name a few.

Currently, my experience as a Canadian Football Scouting Consultant involves scouting 8 NFL teams (AFC & NFC West) for potential players to join the organization. I am responsible for those teams’ roster transactions, training camp evaluations, and preseason game evaluations. As the Director of US scouting, I was responsible for the same player scouting responsibilities, as well as developing a player report grading scale, scouting schedule for other US scouts, and developing relationships with player agents and free agent players.

During the past 10 years as an NFL Regional Combine scout, I have conducted many combines in several NFL facilities, as well as the NFL Network TV Series “Undrafted.” My responsibilities have been to perform height, weight, speed testing, as well as develop and perform position-specific drills in order to evaluate player talent and player recommendations for further testing. In 2019, I was a member of the NFL International Combine staff performing the duties that I have done for the Regional Combines.

My experience in all aspects of football throughout the years has allowed me to demonstrate my ability to work within a fast-paced organization with numerous responsibilities, along with being a motivator, mentor, and team leader. My experience in all aspects of a football organization has allowed me the unique opportunity to develop the skills needed to fit into any aspect of a football organization.

These experiences and knowledge that I have gained will allow me to conduct a football camp that will be not only productive for athletes but also allow them to gain knowledge that will enable them to go further in pursuit of becoming a better football player.
